The writing is clear and interesting. I like the voice and perspective of the child. The details make the reader feel like they are traveling to many counties with the character. Good read.
Enjoyed the book very much; It was told with honesty and in a way that i was drawn into the storytelling....
It was like a travelogue - and not a very interesting one. Hints at complex parents, but no real development of any of the people. Very disappointing.

This wonderful book reflects the very world of a child as she grows up. The observations about the world around her are ones that everyone can relate to.
Jayden wrote a Rambling memoir that reads like a weird dream with memorable scenes and passages months after you finish it.
I loved this book. The author writes in a style that is literate, humorous and quirky. I personally related to the endless questions about words and their meaning continuously posed by the girl narrator. The relationship between the girl and her mother really resonated with me, as my mom was a glamorous worldly smoker and I was a non stop reader.
