I love this book. Clarissa was strong and knew upfront what was happening and was very straightforwrd (she wasn't made to find things out at the end). They were older so I really like that. The male knew what he wanted and laid it all out, I wish all men in reality would be like Julian. I also love that there was a child involved who took to Clarissa immmediately and that the child was not made into a whinning kid (can't stand whinning kid characters).The sex was hot.
And the twist at the end surprised me.
I recommend this book.

kept my attention had drama and romance.... good story line...... I was really into it... I was rooting for a happy ending.
LIKED THE SELF ASSURED STRONG WOMAN AND THE COMMANDING ALPHA MALE .. THESE 2 WERE AWESOME TOGETHER. HOPE THERE WILL BE A PART 2
I really like this book, the characters and the storyline. In some ways the writers capture some issues that women daily with every day. Jealousy, sibling rivalry just to name a few. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, but there were chapter issues that kept repeating. Needs to be re-edited and then re-issued. Other than that was a great read.
This story is good the opening was outstanding then Ms Smith became predictable. The opening fabulous then she lost site of how forceful her hero was and he turned into a whimp. Saying all of that the heroine was wonderful I love a smart and empowered woman. I do recommend this book with 4 stars she should get it re edited the grammar and tense sucks. I liked the story.
Is difficult to read. The tense and verbiage is all WRONG! It's a good story but the writer has very poor grammar skills. I'm only at 36%. I like the Alpha and Rissa is a tough cookie herself. However, can I really read it to the end? SOMEONE PLEASE throw this author a life line and help her in her future endeavors. This type of horrible grammatical errors should not be contained in one book!
More than a Four Letter Word was very enjoyable book. The editing was not perfect and can be a little distracting, but I enjoyed the plot. If you enjoy a hot and steamy alpha male this would be a good book to start. I enjoyed that the heroine was no push over as well, and she's not your stereotypical African-American woman. Its a good book at a decent price. I look forward to reading more from this author.
I must confess i never thought i'd have a problem reading something but this is too much. Present tense delivered stories are painful to read and distracted me from the story. Seems weird but it truly caused me to stop and re-assess what i read every few pages. The story just didnt flow well and i became irritated and didnt want to put more effort into understanding. I am putting it down and having another go later.
